We stayed at The Pointe Hotel a couple weeks ago using a Groupon for a very nicely priced midweek 2 night stay. They can be hit or miss, and this is a good one. It is a nice version of the very typical New England motels you see along the routes in Vermont, New Hampshire, Western Mass, Upstate NY, etc. They had a Keurig coffee machine and good K-cups of Green Mountain coffee which was a nice touch.īecause of the kids, we didn't use the additional benefits of the Groupon which were coupons toward a massage and a romantic dinner at the Castle Hill Resort. With two little kids it was nice to have a comfy couch and big area where they could play.

They are not newly renovated or updated, but it was very clean. I think it's fair for them to keep the prices high during ski season, and maybe foliage weekends, but not weekdays in the fall. I thought we got a great deal with the Groupon, but had we paid full price I might have felt a little disappointed. I think the actual price of the rooms, had we not had the Groupon, was way high for the time of year we traveled.
